Elements

Design elements

Design elements are an essential component of many brands. They reinforce the task of identification and adorn a wide variety of applications to guide viewers.

The Arrow

We free one of the three arrows from the logo and give it a life of its own. It symbolises the brand abbreviation and accompanies the viewer across the various applications.

01 Arrow coloured full-surface

02 Arrow coloured contour

03 Arrow as mask with image

04 Arrow breaking out

Usage

The arrow is used as an important design element in all areas of communication. It can be used discreetly as an outline (01), as a full colour area (02), as a window with integrated image motifs (03) or with a break-out motif (04).

The following instructions apply to the break-out motif (04):

  • The break-outs should not be too close to the arrow shape
  • not too frequently, approx. one breakout in one application, e.g. only once on a landing page

Usage examples

The arrow can be truncated as an element and break out beyond workspaces. Please note that texts are always placed in the foreground. Images can be placed both above the arrow and in the background. The following application examples can help with its use.

Guiding lines

The clear design language of our guiding lines, which are part of TMH's characteristic design image based on the logo, make it easier for viewers to immediately recognise and understand important information elements.
